Install Your eSIM

There are several ways to install your eSIM. We recommend using your phone camera to scan the QR code provided in your DealeSIM confirmation email, as this is usually the quickest and easiest method.

If your device is unable to scan the QR code, you can also install the eSIM manually using the installation details included in your email.

Apple Devices — Manually Install via QR Code or Activation Code

The recommended way to install your eSIM on an iPhone or iPad is by scanning the QR code provided in your email.

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data.
  2. Tap Add eSIM.
  3. Select Use QR Code.
  4. Scan the QR code provided in your DealeSIM email.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

6. If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can enter the eSIM details manually.

Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code > Enter Details Manually, then enter the activation information provided in your DealeSIM email.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Samsung - Manually Install via QR Code or Activation Code

1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager > Add Mobile Plan > Scan QR code

2. If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can enter the eSIM details manually.

Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager > Add Mobile Plan > Scan QR code > Enter activation code, then enter the activation information provided in your DealeSIM email. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Google Pixel - Manually Install via QR Code or Activation Code

1. Go to Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs > Add More> Download a SIM instead, and then scan the QR code

If you prefer to install your eSIM via the activation code, you can enter the activation details directly in your device settings. Follow the steps below to complete the manual installation.

Activate Your eSIM

  1. After you land, go to Settings and turn ON the DealeSIM eSIM line.
  2. Turn ON Data Roaming for the DealeSIM line specifically — this is required for it to connect to a local network abroad.
  3. Turn OFF Data Roaming on your personal/home phone number's line to avoid unexpected high roaming charges from your home carrier.
  4. If DealeSIM is your only data plan for this trip, turn OFF automatic data switching between SIMs (in your cellular/SIM settings) and manually set DealeSIM as your primary data line, so your device won't accidentally switch to your home line's roaming data.
